Every piece of Passionate about Vintage jewellery is handmade using rare and original Vintage glass beads and lacquered brass components.

To be considered 'antique' an article must be over one hundred years old. All our beads date from c.1920-1960 so they are not antique; they are called ‘Vintage’. They come from reputable dealers and often arrive in their original unopened packaging. Our extensive knowledge of Vintage beads through collecting and researching them also helps us to date beads and discover where they were made, based on their colour, shape and texture.

The sacristy of Vintage beads, means that each piece we make is unique or a limited edition. This means that the necklace or bracelet you order may vary slightly from the one you see on screen. We will always confirm with you to make sure you’re happy with our choice of vintage beads. If they are not already available we can also make matching Bracelets and Earrings upon request.

All our lever back ear wires are Gold filled, this is a layer of Gold electro-plated over base metal, Gold fill contains approximately 50-100 times more Gold than Gold Plate, it does not tarnish and it can last a life time even when worn every day.

Repairs and Restoration Service

Passionate about Vintage offers a unique restoration or recreation service. We can either repair a broken piece of vintage costume jewellery, where possible. Or we can create an entirely new piece of jewellery for you, using whatever original parts you have, giving them a new lease of life.
