About the Designer

Christian Dior 1905-1957
French fashion designer Christian Dior was born in Normandy in 1905.

In 1956 in collaboration with Daniel Swarovski, Dior created the Aurora Borealis (AB) coating for Swarovski crystals that was exclusively licensed to Dior at the time, although it is now commonplace.
